Uniting Art, Culture and Community
We don’t have permanent walls - instead we bring exhibits, art events, and local creativity to spaces all around Elwood. Follow along to find out where our showcased local artist will appear next!
The Elwood Art Gallery is a nonprofit art pop-up in Elwood, Indiana. Rather than waiting until we could open a permanent museum, we decided Elwood shouldn’t have to wait. So we bring the gallery to the community, staging exhibits and art events in borrowed and rented spaces all over town. We feature celebrated and awarded artist - from local to international!
Every show is a one-of-a-kind event! One month it’s a western inspired night at the Elk’s Lodge; the next, it’s a fresh exhibit somewhere unexpected. Each event features the work of local and regional artists - shown, celebrated, and available to take home!

Jazz in the Alley: An Evening of Music & Community
What a night to remember! 🎷✨ Elwood Art Gallery was proud to be part of Jazz in the Alley last Friday, bringing together music and community in the heart of Elwood.
The evening was filled with incredible live jazz, lively conversation, and the creative energy that makes our community so special. Local residents and visitors gathered to enjoy the music, connect with one another, and experience a unique downtown setting.
Events like Jazz in the Alley are exactly what Elwood Art Gallery loves to support—creating opportunities for people to come together, celebrate local creativity, and experience the arts in unexpected places.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening such a success, and to all of the musicians, organizers, volunteers, and community partners who helped bring it to life.
We’ll see you at the next one! 🎶🎨
